Ads-Click's Privacy Policy

Ads-Click is firmly committed to protecting the privacy of interactive media users and fostering consumer confidence in interactive media and advertising.  Ads-Click recognizes that quality and diversity of content available using interactive media is a valuable social good, and is dependent on (a) the relevancy of advertising to financially support the provision of such content, as well as (b) the highest standards of consumer education and protection while using interactive media.  To this end, and to ensure conformance with the numerous and rapidly-changing regulatory regimes worldwide, Ads-Click strictly adheres to the following Privacy Policy.  Please note that the Ads-Click's Privacy Policy may be modified as necessary and without notice to customers and the user community, to reflect regulatory modifications and best practices as these evolve.

Ads-Click does not collect personally identifiable information.

Personally identifiable information
generally includes information to determine the identity of an interactive consumer, such as name, address, phone number and email address.  Some of our customers may collect such data, however, as for example in the case of e-commerce providers who require additional information to complete a transaction.  We require our customers to warrant their compliance with applicable privacy laws as a condition of using our services, and we encourage users to read the relevant privacy policies on sites they visit to better understand how these sites treat user data.

Our software does enable our customers to collect non-personally identifiable information to optimize the relevance of the advertising delivered to users.  Such non-personally identifiable information may include the name of the user's browser and operating system, the domain names of sites visited by the user and the date and times of such visits, the content of pages when advertising is delivered to the user, the location of the user's internet service provider, search keywords, and the user's interactivity with the site and its advertisements.

Ads-Click does not collect or sell user information.

Ads-Click may share information with our customers only in accordance with this privacy policy.  Ads-Click does not collect or sell user information of any kind to third-parties, except that some information may be presented in an aggregated, anonymous and non-personal form by Ads-Click to describe Ads-Click's business or the evolution of the interactive marketing services sector in general.

Ads-Click may share non-personally identifiable information (a) in the context of providing network services to interactive sites, or (b) to enable advertising partners to assess the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.

Ads-Click provides advertising services to companies that have interactive sites, and these companies may be grouped together to form a network of sites for the purposes of facilitating sale of interactive site inventory to advertisers.  In such cases, Ads-Click may, in its role as agent to provide advertising streams to such sites, collect non-personally identifiable information to report on advertising effectiveness, including advertising reach, frequency, sequencing, and action ('click-through') rates, and to verify that the user action arrived at the relevant advertiser destination (the 'landing page').  Such data is not collected, analyzed or aggregated for any other purpose.  As part of its contractual relationship with these interactive sites, Ads-Click typically requests that the interactive sites warrant their strict compliance with applicable privacy regulations, and that the interactive sites' privacy policies are conspicuously posted for access by users.

Ads-Click may choose to share non-personally identifiable information with advertisers for the purposes of enabling them to assess the effectiveness of an adverting campaign in a summarized fashion.  As part of its contractual relationship with these advertisers, Ads-Click typically requests that the advertiser warrant their strict compliance with applicable privacy regulations.

Ads-Click maintains strict data security policies and procedures.

Ads-Click's data security systems are configured and maintained to ensure that specific information will not be made available to any unauthorized person and that information will not be lost, destroyed, misused, altered, replicated, disclosed, or accessed by a third-party.  Employees are informed and are held accountable for compliance with this policy.  Web-based information access is controlled by multi-layered password-protected interfaces, and physical access to servers and physical premises is strictly limited to authorized personnel.  Ads-Click may, however, be required under law to disclose certain information if so ordered by a court in the context of a legal proceeding.

Ads-Click encourages users who have privacy concerns to be proactive.

Users concerned about privacy and cookies may elect to block cookies using the configurations available in all standard web browsers.  Information regarding the procedure for blocking cookies is generally available online from the browser's manufacturer.

Users should carefully read the privacy policies posted on interactive media content providers before accessing the content, and contact their local consumer protection authorities if they suspect abuse.
